Overload Form

Before submitting any forms, please discuss any requests, changes, or petitions with the appropriate faculty member. Once submitted, the form will be routed to the necessary faculty for completion. Ensure that all information provided is accurate.

You should receive an email confirmation upon submission of your form. If you do not receive this within 24 hours, please contact our office.

A separate email confirmation will be sent once your request has been fully processed.

Use

This form is used if you would like to register for more then 3.9 units.

Requirements

Your advisor’s signature is required.

Additional Information

You cannot overload during your SIP term.

Overloads cannot exceed 4.9 units.

Overload forms are not processed until registration has ended.

Overload Policies:

  • First-Year Students: a minimum cumulative GPA of 4.0 and advisor approval are required. First-Years MAY NOT overload in their first quarter of enrollment.
  • Sophomores: a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 and advisor approval are required.
  • Juniors: there is no minimum GPA requirement; however, students on academic probation MAY NOT overload. Advisor approval is required.
  • Seniors: there is no minimum GPA requirement; however, students on academic probation MAY NOT overload. Students MAY NOT overload in their SIP term. Advisor approval is required.

*Overload permission is added to the students profile AFTER registration has ended and before add drop opens*
